Notice of Policies

Cancellation Policy
Due to the nature of our business we do require at least 24 hour notice on cancellations or changes to the amount of services on all scheduled appointments. Last minute cancellations may be subject to a fee of half of the total cost of services cancelled or a deduction off of your prepaid series.

Late Arrival
We reserve the right to deny any service if client is more than 10-15 minutes late for their appointment. Cancellation policy applies.

Convenience Fee Charge
Effective January 1, 2020 Polish Nail Bar will be charging a 4% convenience fee on all credit card transactions. To avoid this charge you can use another form of payment such as cash or check.

Returned Check Policy
If your payment made via e-check (ACH payment) or paper check and the check is returned from the bank as dishonored, a $35 returned check fee will apply.
Please note: After three returned payments, we will reserve the right to restrict payment options.

Appointments
Appointments are highly recommended in order to better ensure staff availability. To schedule an appointment, call us at 757.874.6841. The more time we are given in advance, the more likely we will be able to accommodate your date request.

Walk-Ins
Walk-ins and same-day appointments may be available but are not guaranteed. To schedule an appointment and to check our availability, call us at 757.874.6841.

Cancellations
No-shows, appointment changes, and cancellation beyond the 24-hour notice timeframe are subject to full payment at next visit.

Inclement Weather
In case of inclement weather, any Polished Nail Bar closures will be updated on voicemail and on our Facebook page. Should inclement weather be a possibility, please check these sources before your appointment time to ensure we will be open for business.

Cell Phone Policy
As a courtesy to all of our guests, we request that all cell phones are placed on vibrate or silent during your visit. If you are expecting an important telephone call, please speak in a quiet voice as to not disturb our other guests. For your relaxation and others, cell phone use is limited in the spa. 

Gift Cards
Gift cards are available for purchase at Polished or over the phone at 757.874.6841. Certificates are non-refundable and ONLY good for Polished Natural Nail Bar services, not products or gratuity. All gift cards expire one year from purchase date. Gift cards are same as cash and cannot be reissued if lost or stolen.

Refunds
No refunds will be given on retail products or services.
