The Beginning

Our founder, Rita, began researching the anatomy of the nail and the healthiest way to address nail care problems. What she discovered was that many products promised stronger, healthier nails but none of them delivered significant results. Ultimately, she learned that a balanced diet and proper skin conditioning are the true keys to healthy hands and nails. She learned to bridge the gap between health and beauty and created ATiR’s Natural Nail Care Clinic.

Expansion

In 2000, Nicole (Nikki) Waymire established a small cultural nail care salon with the guidance of Rita and her 4 part program—then known as Natural Nail Care Clinic—with only 3 employees right here in Kiln Creek, Newport News. Over the course of the next several years, Natural Nails expanded—outgrowing our suite, offering spa services, and conjoining with Gold’s Gym as an immensely successful clinic and full-service spa.

Continued Legacy

In 2011, Natural Nails became Polish Nail Bar when the business was taken over by the late Crystal Davis and husband Denny. Utilizing the same great products and concepts, Crystal gave her all to this business that she loved dearly. Today we are proud to be Polished Natural Nail Bar continuing to not only live out her legacy but making sure to continuously uphold Natural Nail’s original values and great quality.
